About the Role
Join the backend engineering team at a data activation and marketing technology company, building core tools that help customers turn warehouse data into useful audience insights and actions. This role focuses on reliable, scalable systems and close collaboration with product and design to deliver features that address real customer needs.

Develop real-time audience syncing using change data capture and streaming approaches.
Work with product and design to turn specifications and customer feedback into robust backend solutions.
Shape system architecture, balancing performance, simplicity, and long-term maintainability.
What We're Looking For
Six to fifteen years of backend engineering experience, including substantial experience designing and building large-scale systems.
Strong computer science fundamentals and demonstrated systems design skills, including an understanding of large-scale data processing.
Experience in high-growth startup environments, ideally through Series B to Series E stages, as well as experience at established companies.
A background in SaaS, data activation, analytics, or data tooling.
A product-minded approach to backend engineering, with comfort speaking with users and iterating based on feedback.
A primarily backend engineering focus, rather than a focus on full-stack, data engineering, or DevOps work.
Clear communication skills, a record of career progression, and an ability to learn new technical areas quickly.
